Paris 2024 Olympic Games: the ticket sales calendar revealed
The official ticket sales schedule for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games has been confirmed by the Games Organizing Committee, with a first ballot starting in December.
In total, there are around 10 million tickets available across all the different disciplines included in the Games.
From December 1 to January 31, 2023, the public will be able to register for a ticket draw.
Then, on February 15, the winners of the draw and Club Paris 2024 members will be able to buy ticket packs giving access to three different sporting events.
These “multi-ticket” packs can be customized based on ticket holder preferences and seat availability.
People will find out if they passed the draw by email and will have 48 hours to choose their events.
February 19 will mark the opening of the ticket office to people selected during the “multi-ticket” draw but not members of the Paris 2024 club.
In May 2023, those who pass the ballot will be able to purchase individual tickets.
Those not chosen by ballot will have the opportunity to purchase tickets later in the year.
Ticket sales for the Paralympic Games will also open later in 2023.
Members of the public will be able to buy tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics, with seats closest to the action on the Seine costing €90.
If there is space, people can attend the ceremony from further away for free.
One million seats at €24
Of all the tickets available, more than half will cost less than €50, including one million seats at €24.
Olympic finals will generally be more expensive, but a third of tickets will cost less than €100.
The Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
