NEW LOHLA SPORT CLUB CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT ON DECEMBER 1ST AT SHERWOOD COUNTRY CLUB

(LOS ANGELES, Calif.) – The first annual LOHLA SPORT Club Champions Tournament will take place on December 1, 2022 at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

The competition will feature 36 current women’s golf and country club champions who wear LOHLA SPORT, the premium women’s golf lifestyle apparel brand. Invitations will be extended in early October

LOHLA SPORT ambassador Annika Sorenstam is set to greet players at an opening reception at the new LOHLA SPORT showroom and warehouse, offer swing advice on the driving range during player warm-ups , present the championship trophy and participate in other activities including fireside chat and Fashion Show.

“Our Tournament of Champions is the first of its kind in golf,” says Lisa O’Hurley, Founder and CEO of LOHLA SPORT. “The comedy and competition between top female golfers representing many of the best clubs across America, with Annika as co-host, will be a moment they won’t soon forget – nor should they. Winning a club championship is great, and I want these ladies to feel like the champions they are!

The new tournament expresses appreciation for the more than 250 golf shops that achieve outstanding sales of LOHLA SPORT tops, bottoms, skorts and outerwear that transition smoothly from the course to the office and social environments.
The Sherwood Country Club is the perfect setting for tournaments, with an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and a magnificent Georgian clubhouse. It hosted the PGA TOUR-recognized World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods, from 2000 to 2013; the shark shootout; and the Showdown at Sherwood, the first-ever live prime-time golf match between Tiger Woods and David Duval. More recently, Sherwood hosted the Powershares QQQ Champions Tour Championship and the ZOZO PGA TOUR World Championship.

LOHLA SPORT has continued to excite the women’s golf market since its debut in January 2021. Its current fall-winter collection “Winter Wonderlands” exceeded forecasts by more than 100%. The product line, revered for its European designs with LA flair, takes the names of four-season destinations known for the convergence of chic fashion and active lifestyles: Lake Tahoe, Vail, Park City, Stowe and Aspen.

Inventory turnover at LOHLA SPORT’s ‘The Streets of Los Angeles’ spring/summer collection golf stores was also impressive, exceeding forecasts by more than 200%.

The label’s must-haves include The Very Pant, a four-pocket, four-way stretch bottom. The Golf Fitness pull-on pant is worn alone (similar to workout tights) or under a skort in the fall for added warmth and decor, and is deliberately thicker, becoming the perfect golf-yoga pant . Both styles are suitable for country clubs.

LOHLA SPORT’s colorful and sporty styles are available in sizes XXS to XXL. Fits are flattering but not too sexy, made with quality fabrics sourced from around the world and optimize athletic movement. Its comfy-chic, designed-for-gaming aesthetic attracts a massive following as the company creates a “Golfleisure” movement akin to Lululemon and the “Athleisure” craze.
ESPN, Forbes, Golf Digest, GOLF Magazine, Golfweek, NBC Sports and others praised the brand’s refreshing looks as well as London-based designers Lisa O’Hurley and Paul Rees, formerly Burberry and Aquascutum.
